The Black Sheep Ale House, 78 2nd St., Mineola: Happy hour discounts include dollar off points. This place is for beer lovers. They have 25 beers on tap, a hand-drawn cask and over 75 bottles/cans; free hot dogs all the time, board games, beer events and trivia night and you can walk here from the LIRR.

Jameson's Bar & Grill, 157 Tulip Ave, Floral Park: Irish pub serving steaks, burgers, and pasta with a fireplace and courtyard. They have dinner and happy hour specials.
"Great place to hang out with friends. Awesome service, attentive and friendly staff. Excellent atmosphere. Must recommend," says a post by Thomasina Rosedia on Google.
The Angry Gnome Pub, 1217 Jericho Turnpike, New Hyde Park: It's a neighborhood sports bar with happy hour deals on taps, mixed drinks, and bottled beer.
Chris Lau in a Google review says, "Good local pub with an outdoor patio for smoking and seating. Inexpensive drinks. Darts, a few arcades, and pool table for entertainment."
One Eye Jacks, 380 Wantagh Ave., Bethpage: They have beer towers, fishbowls, and yard glasses, buffet specials and drink deals during football games and sporting events, music, DJs and an "Ultimate Happy Hour," according to their website.
A review on Google by Christopher Dragone says, "Great staff. Great drinks. The bar is very clean and everyone is friendly. The drinks are amazing."
Winston's Bar & Kitchen, 14 South Park Ave., Rockville Centre: It's a gastropub with wines, whiskeys, and food with happy hour specials.
"Love this place, great service, drinks food and atmosphere," said Joseph Dean on the restaurant's Facebook page said.
